Yea, I won the housing... but had to pay for the gears, install kit, and ARB locker in it... plus also paying for new wheel bearings, some gaskets, and a few other small parts that are needed for it to be functional. But hey.... still won the housing though... because that is very functional without the other stuff....

So right at around 2k for something I won...

Yea, I would not be as annoyed and such by the whole thing... if they actually communicated. For someone to drop that kind of money on something and not get any updates or anything. I am always the person that has to call, no emails are returned, no voicemails are returned. The only person that does return an email is the person that runs their Marketing for the company.

And for continually being told everything is there and will be ready in 2 weeks.... three times.... and then finally to be told, oh everything is here but we are waiting on one part that only the Tacoma uses with our axles to be able to actually assemble it... did they not know that to begin with? The guy I talked to said he would have to get with the engineers about it... like are you going to have to build the part or what?

If I had won the entire thing including gears, locker, etc etc and it was truly a free part, I would not say anything and just wait for it... but money has been paid on it. More money will need to be spent on it... sooo would be hard to tell someone that they may have to wait 6 months to be able to get something that they paid for... I had my suppressor quicker than this... and that involved the government...

Yeah, ive seen em around here and there.

Mostly on full sized trucks and 3rd gens.

Im willing to bet, the 3rd gen would fit my truck fine

Just not willing to be $180.00

If it makes you feel any better, Currie's customer service sucks ass too. I'm currently sorting through some issues with a Rockjock60 I ordered and it's been a fucking pain dealing with them....

Though when I ordered it they were dead accurate with the delivery time frame, so I guess they have that on Dynatrac. :bananadead:

Just info on the bumper, as I did not see an option on a hi-lift mount on your website on the 2nd gen bumpers?

If I did a rear bumper any time soon, I wanted a swing out that held 2 rotopax, a hi-lift in the vertical position, tire, and an aluminum table, but have never really found something like that until I saw that bumper on that truck...

Yea, that is true... but I have also seen people just walk into Currie and walk out with a new rear.

Lol, saw that it is made by EGR, looks pretty cool, also kinda like the hood thing too.

    Ohhhh I seeeeeee

Yeah, they told me 3-4 weeks after they received the down payment.

3.5 weeks later they called and said it was ready for pick up.

Not bad at all... wish I could have done a down payment on mine, I had to do full payment up front for what I had to buy for it.

Gotcha. Yeah, we released it for the SEMA build but I haven't had a chance to add it to the website. I will work on getting it on the site tonight.

Ahhhh nice. Well I look forward to seeing it on the website....

Who said I wasn't considering it.... I was mainly just asking about the swing out....

I have seen a couple trucks with the shock boot on the bottom, just how the shocks are built I would guess.

Doesn't matter, shocks can only go one way just some have the pin top mount on the shaft end and some have it on the shock end.
