I installed my roof racks by myself... it is not that hard...

DO IT! Then you can mount a RTT on the runner!

Sounds like a good time for a Mod day in Tyler with someone that needs to cut some rear fenders as well...

I bought 50 sheets of the RAAMmat so a total of 93.75 sqft that also had about 7.5 yards of the ensolite foam as well.

But I covered all four doors with about 2 layers each, rear wall, rear floor, some of the floor, and two layers on the roof.

So really depends on what you want to cover?

At first read I thought you were announcing some news. Then I caught on that it wasnt about you.
    They are expensive racks!
Priority should be to go wheel! Its been to long since your trucks been busted!
I have some cutting that needs to get done in a month or so... Not sure I would want to drive to Tyler to get it done. I either need to buy a better cutting wheel tool or pay to have it installed. I may just pay tandem to install it since it will most likely be pretty cold out and I know I wont have the patience to wait very long. Seeing my busted ass bumper everyday is pretty sad.

Nothing wrong with coming to Tyler! We have a good BBQ joint right down the road from me.

And I am planning on cutting mine with a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade as I will be able to control it better than a cutting wheel.

But yea... not having an enclosed garage sucks because I hate working in the cold.

Same here... I have one at my Moms house, but that is a 45 minute drive one way.

I just know the next house I buy will have a two car garage on it for sure so I can out fit it with tools and insulate it and everything so I can always have a comfortable place to work on vehicles.

Fun fun, I am pretty sure I am going to work Saturday to make up some time instead of using PTO for Monday.

Supposed to get pretty damn cold this weekend though.

Morning, I dont work wednesdays so I got to sleep in until 730 when the pup told me it was time to get up. :D
If it wasnt for the cold I wouldnt be thinking of paying someone else to work on my truck. I much prefer to be able to say I did all the work on my truck and not pay someone else. Unfortunately with my back I have to watch out with the cold and working on the truck may be to much for me to take without regretting it for a few day after. I though about using a jigsaw but was thinking a good cutting wheel would be easier. The cutting wheel I have doesnt hold the wheel in a way that would work well on cutting body panels so I'll either get a new one or use a jigsaw.

I am 8-5 this week and next week but I still wake up at 5:40 every morning...

yea, I just like to be able to feel my hands when I work on the truck, that is the one thing with the house that I regret is not having a actual garage. I could enclose mine, but it would take some work and would be really small.

I thought about a cut off wheel, but I think a jigsaw would work better as it could do the curving better than a cut off wheel. I only have to cut the rear fenders though as the fronts are already done...
