I am sooooo tired right now

Ouch, glad I am not on weekends right now.

 

The perks of working shift work, only get 2 weekends off a month. Oh and that’s if someone doesn’t call off.

Won $50 last night at the Super Bowl party.




Mod day this coming Saturday... that is about it.

 

I think King of Hammers is a trip that will happen next year...

So I've been struggling with some pretty aggressive shoulder / back / arm / neck pain for about 6 weeks. I have no formal medical training, but I'm pretty sure step one is usually "wait it out, it'll get better." Anyway, went to urgent care yesterday (wife says I now make grunting noises when I move at night and I'm waking her up.) Some quick chit chat with the attending, some quick x-rays, and a she says I have arthritis in the top handful of vertebra, with bone spurs protruding from the bottom of each. All of the pain issues are radiating from the neck. It's, literally, a pain in the neck.

So, after leaving urgent care, I shoot over to my buddy who's a chiropractor and has a chiropractic / physical therapy / massage therapy practice. He concurs with the doc. And I'm glad. The pain on the outside of my upper arm was so bad that if I moved the wrong way it made me nauseous. On more than one occasion I would move wrong, then have to grab a garbage pail because I thought I was gonna throw up. Anyway, back to being glad. Remember Dave Draveky? I had been thinking about him a lot the last week or so.

So after x-rays at urgent care and manipulation at the chiropractors I went to get an eye exam. Was told by the very nice lady there that my insurance only covers eye exams ever OTHER year. Hm...

Anyway. That was my not boring day yesterday, in the middle of a snow storm...

 

Damn I forgot this thread existed it’s so lame maybe that’s why.

No, but will be sooner than I expected to be honest to order them...

Dang man! I will say that I love going to the chiropractor, with all the weight lifting and such I do, it helps so much on my back to keep it going.

Have also started doing Yoga at my local Rock gym on top of rock climbing and it really helps loosen and relax the body as a whole.

I know it is pretty lame, nothing has been happening on the truck, no projects really in the works, just a mod day this weekend.

I have something else in the works hopefully that I have been wanting more than a rear bumper.

Will have to see if it plays out though, will make camp life waaaay better.
