I took a look yesterday and the ones around here were sitting at about $1k below MSRP. Supposedly the Lightning is at an average of 86 days sitting on a lot before purchased.

With the current 3.9% financing I'm not interested but if they chop $10k off and pull a GM with 0.9% financing I might go take a look at one. The range on the Pro is terrible however and I have a feeling the low range pre-NACS trucks are going to lose a lot of value.

I was all for getting one until they said only fleet customers could get a pro with the bigger battery. But for regular folks to get the extended range you have to spend like 80k lol, naw thx

Yep, I was one of the early deposit holders. Once they announced that with pricing, I was out. I’d rather have a rivian for that price.

As long as Tesla NACS supports the CHAdeMO protocol, we should be able to have a mechanical adapter and still use the 2024 and earlier fast charging vehicles… I’m reading up on IEC 61851, 62196.

Haven’t transitioned the lawn mowers to electric yet.

This is why you need a truck. Gasoline smells fucking terrible and god help you if any spills on the carpet.

As a home owner I've replaced all of my gas yard equipment for electric. The best swap so far has been the leaf blower. My wife could never get the gas one going by herself, but she'll happily blow the entire yard with the electric one.

I switched to an electric zero turn and love it. Just upgraded from the 18v trimmer to the 40v and it made a significant improvement but battery life could be better. The electric push mower however blows chunks and I have yet to see one that isn't insanely expensive and still doesn't suck. I have an 18v and use 4 batteries just to edge what I cannot do with the zero turn. Talking with others even the $500-$800 push mowers had terribly short runtimes

The Dewalt mower I have is good. It had no problems with handling a normal size suburban lawn on a single set of batteries and when it’s not being used to mow I have two extra 10AH 20v batteries for the other tools.

Same here, lol. Bought a electric leaf blower and now the wife and son are usually doing that chore, and happily to boot haha

I've had the 2x18V Makita 21" push mower for 3 years now , works great , no complaints

Yeh but it feels better to make a monthly payment on 15k than 37k

Tons less parts much simpler. Gasoline replaced horses. The demand for electrics has jumped to 1 in every 5 now and it is increasing.

Big difference you can't fill your tank while you are sleeping.
