I recently bought a 2001 with no check engine light but did have a PO441 code. I put on a new Toyota gas cap, replaced suspect vacuum hoses, new air filter ( old one was filthy) and replaced the air intake hose that had some cracks at one end. Now my inspector says my car computer hasn't reset after 300 miles and visiting him three times. Bright side is inspector doesn’t think I have the PO441 any longer. That’d be nice for sure. question is how do I get these new codes to clear/the computer to reset. I researched and looks like there may be a process for the reset.
Pics of the before and after codes attached. Also a pic of the charcoal canister where the PO appears to have added some JB Weld to it. I’m in dallas BTW if anyone knows of a Tacoma friendly inspector.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Must complete a Toyota drive cycle. Just Google it for all the steps specific for your year and model. You can have two Bot Ready codes active in an 01 without a CEL. It may be 2000 was the cutoff since you show 2 incomplete. For EVAP there is a portion where it must sit at idle with a cold engine and over 3/4 tank gas to cycle it.

I googled and did this Toyota drive cycle and still the catalyst and Evap show not ready. 340 miles driven. Any thoughts would be very welcome. Received a ticket yesterday for no tags.

For the evap monitor to run the vehicle has to enter test mode... sitting for a minimum of 8 hours, fuel tank between 1/3 and 3/4 and it has to do this twice... my brain is telling me there is a third parameter, just cant think of it right now. For all the others like the cat monitor.

This works for me every time

I will do the normal drive cycle thing and that works but there are those trouble cars that just want to fight you ALL THE WAY.
