Should have a vacuum diagram on the hood, are u talking about the evap canister, thats something else. U can get issues with evap canister when u over fill your gas tank.

Those vacuum caps look factory to me, i dont think that there is anything there that they should be hooked up to. The green cap under the brake master cylinder looks like the evap test port, see if that is tight, btw, that is where you smoke test the system. It seems that evap leaks are either a gas cap or a real pain, good luck.

On later models they traded the egr system in favor of 2 Cats baby

those nips would feed egr control modual...on earlier years...
thats on yours because the TB fits wide range of vehicles worldwide (Hilux)

the other connector is most likely on all the harnesses for cruise control unit

I'll find you a pic and let you decide

On later years they moved the evap canister to over the gas tank

that makes it deteriorate at faster rate

If you drive in crappy weather a fair amount, you'll end having to give it an increased amount of love

its so serious....I'd source a backup one and keep handy

but as stated.....about half the time, its just in need of a new gas cap

    yes i get code p0441
i bought a new vapor canister purge solenoid oem
i changed the fuel tank filler neck cause someone told me that’s where it might be leaking
bought a gas cap on Amazon so changed that out too but i might just replace the hose that connect to the purge valve

especially on 5vz the biggest problem as these age is the old tubing everywhere

on black tubing its deceptive .....

so I'd make it a hobby to go over everything rubber or hose and replace most
....the silicone doesnt cook to pieces like the rubber ones

that and having bad/old weak grounds is about half of everybody's weird problems

I would not of replaced filler neck without smoke testing it
....because of where your canister is.....you may end up having to buy a cheap $55 smoke machine

OS and Thatt helped me alot replacing all my 29yr old hoses

    IMG_3818.jpg IMG_3819.jpg

I bought my new hoses from Ace Hardware
    (Multiple different store trips)
But now I hear complete hose kits available from Amazon
Not counting gas for trips pretty much a wash price wise

IF you replace the PCV valve hose make sure its fuel rated

my first attempt.....it swelled up like michelin man

had to switch to 5/16 snowmobile fuel line
