Hey, my truck has triggered some evaporator codes twice now. and an occasional "Check gas cap" message. I'm guessing its all emissions stuff. anybody have any experience with that?

2020 TRD Sport. MT 50K-ish on the mileage.

Sounds a leak in the evaporative emissions system, which includes the top of the fuel tank, the charcoal canister and all the lines/valves.

It's telling you to check the gas cap because it thinks you may have left it loose. It gives you a few days to check and tighten the cap and then if it still sees the leak it starts to set leak codes

First step is to replace the cap with oem and clear codes

If the codes persist then you'll have to start troubleshooting
