    Has anyone else noticed that the new tacos have a recording device? I had a little spare time this morning so I read through the manual in preparation for my new truck. Evidently they come with a recording system that records up to 30 seconds of data. According to the manual it is used in the event of a crash to better help investigators determine the cause of the crash. Pedal placement, vehicle speed, if the seat belt was fastened...

    They came with the GEN2 as well. I have one in my 2006.

    That's what the Progressive snapshot and other tools like that plug into. There are also devices that you can use that talk to your phone over Bluetooth (they run about $99).
