Figured I should start one of these. A couple months ago I bought an old to me 1998 manual 4x4 Tacoma with just under 150k miles (then!) from my pops. He bought it brand new in 98 and it was his work truck for his painting and construction business and DD. A lot of memories with this truck.

Flexing a bit after I bought it

So! A couple months ago he bought a 2015 Tacoma 2wd to replace it, and I bought it from him. The only mods he did to it was bigger tires, a ladder rack and aftermarket muffler. I have much bigger plans for it in the future.

But as of right now it needs a bit of fixing up seeing as I hit a deer about 2 weeks ago and it's been sitting since.

    How it sits now 9/26/15

I've put in an order for a relentless fab diy plate bumper which should be here in a month! Super excited for this although it pushes off the ome lift and tires I was planning on.

    More to come!

It's finally here! Just needs some more prep and paint and its good to go! I have some lights I plan on getting in it and thinking about making some halos work as turn signals somehow

Other things that have happened is I finally got some lightly used tires (235/85/r16 loving the tall and skinny look) that were studded and looked like they had gone through one winter and I had a hell of a time finding the correct lug nuts for the wheels! The Toyota dealer had them for a steal at 13.99 each but I ended finding them at Costco of all places for 2 bucks a nut. Maybe the ones from the Toyota dealer had TRD engraved in them? :p

Inside I have been messing around with some fiberglass for speaker pods and sound deadening. Not totally finished with the pods yet but I think they're turning out alright. Will get a picture up of that soon

    That's all for now!

Small progress update, got the bumper off and hacked up some light mounts for it and painted it. Still currently hanging in the garage waiting for the weekend when I can finish it
