Yup, cibvilians can get a ticket written.

24 yrs ago in MA I got one mailed for improper passing. It was clear bc the color of my car on the reg was wrong (not even close) and that's what the ticket said. Small town, bored cops, and this one had a boner for a kid with long hair and a Camaro.

Fought it before a magistrate and lost..went before a judge and lost. Both times I questioned innocent till proven guilty and it didn't apply as this isn't criminal

My buddy yrs ago got 70 in a 40 $250..cop didn't show up and it got thrown out. A week later he got summonsed back, the cop bitched and he got found responsible.

    Stuff that in our pipes..

South East Mississippi. Wreckless driving and wreckless endangerment in the same stop. It got thrown out in court. I squealed my tires off a red light to get ahead of traffic then failed to use a blinker to move to the turn lane. That was in my xrunner. Souther East Mississippi. Wreckless driving for going 117 in a 65 highway patrol office noted my age and the truck and told me to "slow down the red rocket" at the time I had a dodge Dakota RT with a 5.9 hem I dropped my ticket to 79 in a 65 told me to pay the ticket and take a defensive driving course. New Orleans. This one is interesting. 120 in my xrunner coming from New Orleans to Slidel irritated because of traffic and people wanting to go 45-50 in the slow lane in an 80 zone I got my chance and stomped it to get past traffic and back to our hotel. Caught me not 1/2 a mile from our exit. Asked what kind of truck it was checked it out. Said he wanted to follow us to the hotel for "safety" let me with a warning and I saw him waiting for me the next morning to see if I had learned my lesson. Now it's just 5 over the posted speed limit for me. I feel like I've gotten lucky too many times.

In my 2001 Taco I have gotten about 6 and gotten away with about 3, that's in a 15 year span of owning the truck. Nothing yet in my 2016, fingers crossed!!! Heavy foot :)

Does this apply only to 2nd gens? I've been pulled twice in my 96.

This damn powerhouse of a 3.4 just can't keep the tires from spinning

20% tint on all windows, Deckplate mod, satoshi-ish grille, blacked out and/or body matched emblems, rattle canned rims, red l.e.d. interior lights, bilstein 5100's and OME 881 coils , deaver 8 leaf pack, 1.5" lift shackle, alpine sound system, 55w HID lightforce 140 and 170 fogs
Been pulled over three times. First time for not using my blinker(Bulb had burned out the day before) but got just a warning for the failure to signal and a fix it ticket for the tint.

Second time was for no license plate on the front, but it was in the back seat of my truck so just got a warning.

Third time was at about 1am on the 4th of July in my small hometown which hosts a big festival every year and the troopers are always out in force. Got pulled over for no mud flaps  Again, no ticket. Once they realized I wasn't drunk they let me off. Pretty crazy though because where I got pulled over was a four way intersection and at one point while I was sitting there the troopers had people pulled over at all four sides of the intersection

Haha I'm not, it's a great engine and was the most powerful in its class long ago.

I was kidding about it being real powerful but mine does break the tires loose quick. Mechanical throttle is real touchy
