I found a hard cover for my truck im interested in. Its a great price , but it is silver and my truck is blue. All my accessories are black so I was thinking about doing a rhino liner type coating on the cover. Was looking at the Raptor liner on Amazon. Seems like it would be very forgiving for mistakes. Anyone ever done anything like this before?

Sounds like a great idea! Not to bash the DIY option but if you have a local LineX near you they could probably spray the Tonneau cover for you with really nice results.

A good friend of mine did that for a hard cover for the back of his Jeep and it came out really nice.

I did my crappy free truck cap using herculiner and it turned out great. Do good prep, mix thoroughly, two coats with the proper roller/brush technique and it'll look great.

You'll like the way the finish feels and cleans much better than anything with rubber chips in it.
