Ever Shot a Mosin Nagant?... (and rifle choice help)

The Weatherby Vanguard goes for ~$399 and comes with a factory shot test target that shows the 3 shot, nickle sized group the rifle is capable of.

 

My buddy owns a nagant, and I own a Rem 700 30.06. We went shooting yesterday - the 700 has way more kick than the nagant. I think my 12 guage has more kick than the nagant...

 

well i just found a marlin 366 30-30 for 310 bucks used but not used much from what i saw i think im picking it up tomorrow any thoughts

 

I like 30-30 a lot, expensive and hard to find round sometimes though.

 

well i ended up buying a marlin xl7 in .308 and putting on my Bushnell target scope on it its ready for pigs and deer now and on the cheap only got 350 bucks in it

thats it with out the scope im picking up the scope from my lake house this weekend on the way to the ranch but i got the scope mount on its got a super nice trigger on it its set at 2.5 pounds
