    Not sure if I buy this. Partical accelerators only work in a vaccume, or high magneticfield environments. His head going into the "beam" would have disrupted the magnetic field. Wouldnt it?

    Wasn't the Collider only finished last year or something? And they mention watching him for over 19 years. I think he stuck his head into the LEP not the LHC.

    The LHC was finished last year but the one this guy popped his head into was at the "Institute for High Energy Physics in Protvino" according to the article. He did it in 1978.
