Good to ask questions. I'd definitely look for a review before purchasing.

What they don't mention is down to how many microns does that filter out? Sure, paper IS restrictive, but it filters so well. Air flow is important. As their "low information" chart shows, no filter would be best. But we know the problems with that.

Since they don't tell you how good of a filter it is I'd assume they sacrificed the filter part for air flow. I'd stay away, even with the pretty colors they offer.

I can't remember the recommended microns for an air filter, but it is readily accessible by an internet search.

Their application guide does not cover the 2nd+ gen Taco; and only the 4 cyl of the 1st gen.

FYI, someone did dyno tests with an OEM air filter (paper) and no air filter on the 3rd gen and saw no difference in power.... similarish sized air filter between 2nd and 3rd gens. Needless to say the stock OEM paper filter which has been shown to be FAR better at filtering air that most aftermarket filters does not rob power.
