I got the Lego advent calendar for all three kids this year. I think I am more excited to open them tomorrow than they are.

 

I got the Star Wars and City advents but I won't be opening them yet. I did watch a YouTube video on what I'm missing out on. Lastly I bought the Creator Ferris Wheel from Amazon on cyber Monday. It was discounted to $159.99 which is the best I've seen on that set.

 

I picked up Lego Dimensions game for X1, Ghostbusters story pack, Doctor Who level pack, Ghostbusters level pack and Scooby Doo team pack from Toys R Us for $130. The have cyber week on both the game and regular legos.

 

For some reason Amazon sent my packages individually. This came in today.

 

So I went pretty crazy on a few lego dimensions packs. Heck I even bought the actual starter pack so I could play it. If TRU hadn't had a good deal I would have passed on it. I'll post a picture once I am home.

I was skeptical of this set but the attention to playability is spot on. Unlike the Creator Modulars this opens from the side allowing full access to all three floors. Tons of mini-builds for the furniture and details.
My 9 year old did 90% of it himself with me simply separating pieces by color.
He loves it!

 

^^^ This has to be one of the best sets ever produced. It's on my list to get along with the Disney Castle.

Do you have to do much modding to get Ecto 1 inside?

 

You have to move the desk / reception area to have Ecto 1 fit with the doors shut. If you don't want to move the desk the vehicle will have to stick out partly.

My son kept the desk and just has it sticking out some.

Amazon has a sale on right now with some Star Wars and city sets. It's buy one get one 40% off. Plus many sets are on sale. I finally ordered the new rogue one tie.

 

Thanks to Amazon's deal I got the First Order Transporter and the TIE Striker.

I think the sale ended already. But you added the items and the discount was added at checkout.

 

When I was at Gamestop picking up a game, I asked about the Lego Dimension's Green Arrow and was given one.
