No... I've got the Town Hall the Pet Store and we just got the Grand Emporium - That's 3 of them. The other buildings are ones I built from the leftover Legos from when I was a kid.
It looks like more than it really is.

 

ok so I exaggerated lol.. Still that's a lot in legos. Although I'm more jealous than shocked haha

 

not really keeping up with time, but i would say around 4 hours now.

just finished bags 2 and 3






this thing is pretty big.
18" long so far and 12" tall so far.

still have to build the lifting arm and the winch on the front

 

Thats badass. I might just have to buy one for my birthday next month. Has it been challenging enough? I bet its been fun to build

I separated out the homemade ones because the kids wanted to mess with them...

The only two that are out that I don't have are the Fire Brigade and the new Theater... I'll pick them up at some point.

There are a few others that have already been discontinued and they are Crazy expensive to try to get now...

These realistic town sets are exactly what I wanted as a kid. Makes them hard to resist now.

 

You hit the nail on the head.
I had mostly the space sets as a kid. The "town" sets started becoming more popular and before I "grew out" of the Lego Phase I got some of those sets.
It's those bricks & components that I've used to build the houses for my kids.

all of the lift arm functions are pneumatic except for the rotation.
the winch on the front is driven by the motor as well.

definitely a cool little project

Second UCS Xwing. First time they have done a repeat of an UCS.

 

Looks like a cool set, but I'm disappointed they're repeating a UCS set when there are still a ton of possible ships for UCS. For example, I'd love to see a UCS AT-AT

Hopefully this set doesn't devalue the 1999 UCS X-wing (7191)...

For the record, this will be the 7th X-wing set if you count the re-release of the 1999 set (7140) in 2002 (7142), not counting the 6 (I think) mini sets.

 

I don't mind the repeat. For the people who missed out on the original they don't have to pay crazy prices. Same reason a couple people have purchased aftermarket bricks to build the UCS Millinneum Falcon. I don't own any UCS sets. I almost picked up the Tydirium Shuttle. Living in a small apartment means not much room for any types of displays.

 

I've got the at-st UCS and that thing took me FOREVER to build. Probably all told was almost 8 hours. Still one of my favorites though.
