I had zero hope of getting any deals from TRU. Mainly because I’ve already spent my discretionary money on double points from Lego.

No just the art on the wall in the room and you sign a release that if one gets broken you have to pay for it. Can cost as little as $800.00 to I think $5000.00

TRU here in San Antonio is only 5% as some of yall stated.

That being said, I went across the street to the LEGO store.

Went over to TRU sale, it is a sham at this point. Lots of prices marked up and at most 10 percent off the stuff we want. Plus stuff is scattered throughout the store and labels/price markers are missing from most products. Price scanner is down also, so you can not really tell what anything is until you get to the register.:annoyed: the one in Burbank still has a sign up saying "now hiring"

My local TRU was cleared out of Lego at 5% off. This means it was nearing retail prices and people were losing their minds. Needless to say I got nothing.

In my sadness I went to Amazon and bought the batman batshuttle. I feel a little better now.

The Beetle is a challenging build. Could use model glue in some places.

If you get to the register and the price is to high tell them you don't want it!
