In town shopping today didn’t even think about stopping at TRU!

 

Picked up a husky minifig. Not to scale.

 

The caravan has joined the party.

 

Some of the new Star Wars sets have been hitting the shelves. I've not seen them yet but there are reviews popping up on YT. So much want from different themes which are soon to be phased out. But I rarely buy when new sets show up.

 

I have a legitimate fear of missing out on some sets. There are no rules on how long Lego will manufacture and sell various products, particularly small sets are prone to disappear without any notice. Usually they’ll sit on the shelf 9-12 months. This will go by quickly especially if you are waiting on a sale.

 

My terrible experience at TRU package arrived today.

How do you go about purchasing a whole box of the mini fig series? Mrs Taco loves all the ones in the new series...

 

Double points be damned. Missed the Palace Cinema. They still had it last time I was at the closest Lego Store. Not this time. So I got the next oldest modular they had I'm interested in. I also wanted thedesert skiff but it too was gone. I have the previous version already.

 

I preordered a box from minifiguresplus. They have an eBay store. They are fairly pricey but they give a Brickset Forum discount. You just message them there and they’ll send you an invoice.

 

I know there are multiples but do you get all of the series if you just get a box?

 

Ordered my Tron set this morning.

 

Just called the store, they have a big stock of the Tron cycles but aren't giving out the minifigure factory gift until tomorrow when they are closed. Hopefully be able to stop by Monday and get the Tron, some of the new CMF's, and the minifig factory.

 

I think I’ll order the Mini Cooper to get the factory set.
