And per the conversation above, I use the heavy duty Hefty Gallon Zipper bags for most sets, the bigger sets just going in Rubber Maid containers (usually fully assembled). Small sets either get the smaller bags or 2 or 3 per bag. Then all of the bags fight into big Rubber Maid containers.

still waiting for an asshat seller on bricklink to actually mail the last of the minifigs to complete series 9

 

I spent about 20min with the sales guy at the lego store feeling the minifig packages to get the damn chicken guy.

lol, oh yeah, been there/done that.
target/walmart/toys r us/lego/etc got my girls pretty good at finding the good stuff.

i will have to get a shot of all the minifigs we have so far

 

That's basically what I'm doing on with hefty bins and zip lock bags from snack pack sizes up to xxl depending on how big the kit is. I've got 8 bins jammed full and still alot to go, fingers today are sore as hell, I put in about 22hrs taking stuff apart this weekend. I really want to get it all done so I can weigh them all, haha.

And speaking of mini figs, picked some up today with my boys for my birthday. Got the Waiter, Cave Woman, and another Snow Boarder.

 

He's easy. I've been feeling the bags since series 4 when they switched from individual UPC codes to one for all. Unfortunately when you know the ratio of figs in each series per box there are a few when you find them you keep them. Chicken man I think was four or six to a box.

Check out that site if you aren't already aware of it. I will say this though, Eurobricks has got to have some of the most tightassed mods of any site I frequent. You can hardly disagree or chastise someone without a mod getting their panties in a bunch. Good site for Lego stuff just don't ask why Lord of the Rings is in the historical themes instead of licensed...ok yeah I spend too much time there.


I'll probably get banned over there for making comments over here.

I saw the press shot of the series 10 on bricklink & I'll be honest - the only ones I really like are the painter & the "mall chick" with the dog for my daughter.

 

On Sunday we picked up some city trucks and the fire house.
The fire truck is great. My son sat down at the table and took the time to put them all together on Sunday. I may have to give up the mancave to his lego collections. Post some pics when the camera is charged.
