I did that last night with a bin of parts, mostly small 1x1s and such. Fun times were had, indeed...

We picked up the Trouble on Tatooine set. They sold out of this set immediately. I got the penultimate one at the LEGO store near me 15 minutes after they restocked them.

i think in that case - if it wasn't something assembled - i'd dump out the dirt bin on the vacuum and just suck them up then give them a quick wash and dry. probably easier than crawling around on your hands and knees.
got most of mine put back together but there are a few bits that I dont know what in the heck they belong to. i had taken everything down for christmas and hadnt put them back up as i was hoping to find some sort of cabinet to keep them in - something with a door to keep the dust off. guess its time to find a cabinet...

My lego order from the 1st is scheduled to arrive today. Now I need diagonal alley to be back in stock so it can ship too.

My delivery was loaded on the truck at 3:57am. It’s nearly 8pm.. I’m wondering if it will actually make it tonight.

Well I didn’t think it would make it here but, it did. Everything from my Jan 1st minus Diagonal Alley.

Jeebuz....no wonder it took so long! They had to send a separate truck to fit it in!

I want the lantern festival but will wait until later this year. My sights are completely focused on Ninjago City Gardens this Thursday

The Police Station was a fun build! The set has a lot of nice detail, unique and new build techniques, and the interiors are nicely done. I always customize the interiors in my modulars, and they've got a good start. A funny note is that the small room at the top right (under the black roof) is a freezer with some food in it ... I assume that's really for a morgue! (Maybe I should have a body in there?!) The jail is also funny as it looks as if someone has tried to dig out under it.

The height of the set is good. In the past with other modulars, I've bought duplicate sets to add floors. The second and third floors could easily be duplicated. I may consider that when the set is in stock?

The donut shop interior is nice, however no customers! (Must be Covid .)

I would have liked to see more police officers. The set only had five minfigures total, and it's calling for at least a dozen to properly fill the set. I went on eBay and bought a few more uniforms for more officers.

I have a lot of minifigures, however they're all assigned to doing other things within the city. I did find a few similar minifigures in my "parts and pieces" that I've made detectives for the second floor. I also had an extra Bigfoot that is getting booked (picture taken).

So where the space shuttle is, is my last open spot for a future modular with my Lego city setup with having two tables. (See video here: https://flic.kr/p/2kpVhF1) The building to the left is a custom build using some extra pieces from buying a second Assembly Square. It's an ocean front bar and grill, and theme park! (My pirate ship then sits in front of all of this.)

Seemed to me like it was an evidence locker. I guess a freezer works, too.

Your display is awesome. Nice work!
I'm pretty stoked for it and think it looks great. City and Docks are two of my favorite sets; all three are thing to look fantastic together
