Here's a cool little old set.

This came in today.

 

I was at Wally World today and swung through the Lego aisle. There was a family with a couple kids spread out looking through everything so I kind of panic decided on a $20 snow speeder, thinking it might be an entertaining after dinner build, and didn't really want to get in their way.

Turns out the one I picked up is an easy builder meant for 4 year olds. Whooooops. Managed to miss the giant "4+" on the front and "Learn to build" on the back of the box. Oh well, real easy build tonight.

 

It has cool accessories and figs. I've got one.

 

I’m still pretty pleased with it, worth the $20. I didn’t have a Snowtrooper mini fig before this and the whole model is surprisingly good looking for how few pieces it is.

 

Finished this set this morning!

 

Finished Ninjago City Gardens last night. Overall it is a great set and very striking, and looks good with the City and Docks.

That said, there are a few things that make me wonder a bit. There are some questionable parts choices that seem to exist only to boost the parts count. It also doesn't feel as cohesive a design as the previous two sets.

Not really knocking it and I think it is still a worthwhile purchase, but there are a few odd design choices in this one.

Went to the local lego store and they were out of the bookstore and police station.

lots of other neat stuff. The wife passed on the Fiat in favor of housewares.

 

We'll see what happens. I voted Black Knights, Imperial Guards, and Ice Planet. For reasons.

Am I the only one who barely ever does the other 2 builds in the 3in1 sets? Currently attempting to sort and build the house.

 

Yeah I started with the ship and instead of buying another set this weekend I tore it apart to make use of the other 2 builds but so far it’s just sat on the dinner table all weekend lol.
