I was all about it!!

 

Found this giant Liberty Bell at the Philly airport made of Legos. Pretty sick as the lettering at the top stands out too

 

Yeah the raised lettering looks good but the thing has a huge crack in it… or should that be

 

It’s actually a bunch of black pieces underneath it, thought it was very well done. Looked odd when I first passed it until I realized it had to be Legos

 

More progress. Did some test renders of the hull as it sits so far

 

So 2 of my 3 Aug 1 orders are still in warehouse while the 3rd one is backordered. I’ve never had orders from lego sit 10+ days in the warehouse.

 

We had the place to ourselves on Sunday morning. The kids had a blast. Manchester is a cool city.

 

Mine's still in warehouse, too. Really odd. Doesn't give me good feelings about trying to get parts for the my current project before the next show in November.

 

Boba Fetts SLAVE 1 $38 at Costco. Wasn’t worth the 350 VIP points from Lego to me so I picked it up

 

Also I’ve turned into a hoarder of unopened Lego All of my unbuilt sets, waiting on shelving before I build some of them. A few retired sets that I found locally for a decent price that I’ve wanted for a bit

 

Yes…. Come to the Darkside.

My Aug 1 order showed up yesterday. Skipping the club meeting tonight, might crack into the castle.

 

ha!! I bought my son that Ducati!! I’m trying to get the Porsche 911 rsr for me to start working on tonight
