Application Engineer for a Data Center product manufacturing company

 

I sit behind a computer all day, and get "yelled at" by people that work for the same company that I do because the factories that we do business with and buy from don't perform like we expect them to, like it's my fault that they suck.

LOL

 

Sounds like me, I'm a purchasing manager for a hydraulic repair shop. Mostly LARGE cylinders like mobile crane stuff or hydro dams.

 

One of the factories that I "handle" has really been sucking ass lately, so I literally get "hate email" all day every day thanks to them.

This week has been extra rough. Feel like calling it quits and just packing it in lately.

 

I sell medical supplies.

 

I feel your pain. It's my fault our suppliers don't stock every single seal and bushing known to man and that lead times are now in months.

Go home, crack a beverage, and build something.

 

Ya know I just saw the Lego Ford Raptor set and thought how much cooler a tacoma set would be. Lego dropping the ball on making the most popular truck out there out of bricks

 

Did you see @zDirtyDeedz ’s truck on the previous page? Pretty kick ass, complete w RTT which I doubt Lego would offer

 

I’m currently about to walk into the Chicago Lego store and walk out with some small things I’ve had my eyes on. But first I’ve got to finish my beer

I think the closest Lego store for me is about a 4 hour drive.

I’d need to have at least a six pack each way .

 

Yup nothing here surprisingly. A lot of the out of stock stuff at my actual local stores are in stock here in Chicago but not those

Ha well my night shift doesn’t start until 6 so I figured I’d grab some lunch and go to the Lego store to take advantage of the double VIP points

Totally agree. I modified an existing set someone made and added all the bells & whistles my truck has. If anyone wanted the instructions I'd be happy to provide.

My set is the 8 wide speed champions size. Maybe I should make a Taco more to the scale of that Raptor set hmmmm....

 

But ugh, I am not about to learn the whole Technics collection just for that maybe I'll just modify the raptor set from the instructions on their site
