I didn't realize what they were at first, nice way to build them instead of just making a standalone piece for it

My donation to Toys for tots for the year. While I call it a donation I actually think of it as getting the next generation hooked so Legos will be around in the future.

Took the Beatles Art set and used another rebrickable instruction set and made this. This one was pretty tough with all the similar colors

Just the creator pickup from a couple pages ago. I have a couple digital designs that haven't really gotten far, otherwise all of my other current projects are non-lego.

    How about yourself?

my employer helps with the local big brothers, big sisters and they (BBBS) do a big Christmas party every year for the kids. adopting a kid for Xmas requires a min $100 commitment and we're given a "wishlist" provided by the parent that usually is 3 to 5 items totaling $100.
I always volunteer to be a shopper and help get presents for one of the kids that my employer adopts.
last year I lucked out and got to do the shopping for a little boy who wanted legos. my employer reimburses us for anything up to $100, if we want to spend more its out of our pocket. i may have gone overboard buying legos.
the previous year I got to shop for a little girl who had nothing but clothes on her wishlist. kinda made me think that money must be pretty tight for the family if the basic necessities were the only thing they were asking for for a 7-year-old. so I got $100 worth of clothes and another $40 or 50 of toys just because. including legos.
I also always made sure to wrap each present individually and then put them in one GIANT box and wrap that too.... hoping my kid had the biggest present under the tree at the BBBS party.

to be a fly on the wall when the kids walk into the room for the party and see the giant pile of presents waiting for them....

the last 14 days of the new advent calendar. There’s a couple days that add up to make one piece, like the chimney and then it’s decorations, Griphook and his counter from Gringotts, and in the far back Harry’s vault and his gold.

yeah I can’t decide if I wanna cut it off the box or not, if you’ve opened up your box you’ll see another cut line inside but it’s basically the front cover picture without any of the LEGO box details. Not sure if you’re suppose to cut them both off and then tape together.

My fiance's work does a giving tree where you can sign up online to fulfill the tags, she snagged all the lego ones for me this year, that was a fun trip.
