Well, my Tie Fighter Pilot head is ordered. Thanks Mom for the gift card and the VIP points I had. I managed to save about $20.00

What do you guys think of the globe? I personally like it but I'm seeing a bunch of people trashing it online.

No real complaints about it - the final design looks much more refined than the original fan submission. $200 feels a little steep, but Lego has felt way over priced for a while now. Not sure if I'll get one or not, but will likely at least order a few of the compass rose printed tiles from Bricks and Pieces.

It’s a pretty neat looking set... but seems expensive for what it is (though the cost vs piece count seems good). If they’ll accept my payment I’m in.

I’m gonna pass and add the $200 to my LUT and crawler fund.

    One can hope…

After hunting/waiting for a year to get shelves I really wanted, I finally gave in and got some cheap ones. I quickly discovered I need a lot more shelves.

Yes only in store and it appears each store has discretion on their clearance discount. 1 target had 50% off, the next target had 70% off.
I went online and found it was only showing 15% off so I contacted target to see if they would match the in store discount if I provided receipts, and they said they do not match in store discounts due to each store having its own policy on setting discounts

Yeah it's set 42069. The trailer is attached in my pics but it also detaches easily. I actually just finished rebuilding this set into the main extreme adventure vehicle. I'll post pics sometime soon!

This brings up another question, do y'all have your lego insured as a specific item on your homeowners insurance? That's some big $$ sitting in very flammable boxes.
