I've seen a few posts on IG showing folks picking up new sets at wally world early. So its not an isolated incident

Trying to decide if I like the standard telescoping boom crane or knuckle boom crane better for the mid-ship location

Both look good! In my opinion, the knuckle boom adds a bit more of visual interest. Not sure which would be more accurate? I just prefer the way the knuckle looks.

Thanks! Neither is more accurate than the other. I'm roughly basing this off of F/V Wizard; it has had both.

Thanks. Might tweak it a bit, but I'm starting to lean that way.

the Sat V was my first and still my favorite set to build. lots of little details in there. plus the finished thing is so massive its the first thing anyone notices when they come to my house so a great conversation piece too. dont really have a bad thing to say about it.
2nd favorite would be the Apollo 11 set. 3rd the Creator 3 in 1 camper caravan. 4th the Space Shuttle

Saturn V is still one of my favorite sets overall. The build was fun with some really nice techniques, the final model is great on display as you already mentioned, and the price is exceptional for what you get. Lego really knocked it out of the park with that one.

added bonus points for the Sat V - no stickers and the finished model is sturdy AF. Some of the smaller sets I have feel flimsy yet that's the largest set i have and its solid

need to learn more about this stuff
I’ve never been a buy at launch guy. Never had to have a set bad enough. But I’m a huge F1 fan and although I would rather it be the Red Bull livery, I’ll have to get the mclaren. If it says it goes on sale on March 1st, what time is that in California??? Is it midnight east coast? Or is it Europe time??
