    Just the basics
Saw Jang's preview on this set and he called the windows something other than "trans-yellow". Think he said "trans-neon-yellow". To me it looks almost like the trans-yellow from classic space...if so this would be a great possibility for classic space builds. Maybe I'm just wishfully thinking. Despite the theme this looks like an interesting set. The front photos are pretty neat.

Awww, the M-Force! Man, my mom gave away my LEGOs without asking when I went away to college. One of these days I might have to rebuy them. I still remember those oversize black wheels on one of the sets, and making darth vader and luke skywalker with those neon green and red antennae.

    Oh damn, that sucks.....

Word of warning: if you think Lego is expensive when new, you're going to crap yourself for what the older sets and parts go for.

Yikes. You aren’t kidding. I guess it was M:Tron? And the Blacktron spin-off. I had a bunch of those. This was the big one with the wheels I was thinking of:

    Yup....

The wheels alone average around $12.50 each on Bricklink. Pretty crazy for a set that originally retailed for $60

I only had the single small M-Tron set and a couple small ones from Blacktron II. I remember drooling over the larger sets in the catalog; they looked so cool. When time came, though, my money nearly always went to Pirates.

    Yellow ones?

Down in Florida for a few days; we ended up going by the Orlando Lego store. They have Build A Minifig open, whereas the store back in KC still doesn't. Took the opportunity to find some cool parts, and my girlfriend assembled some of them into this badass little dude. Meet Dirk McBiceps:

Gotcha. The Mega Core Magnetizer had the giant sized hard plastic wheels. It was one of only three sets with that part, and the only one with them in black. The yellow wheels are medium size from the Aquanauts theme. Used, they average around 25 cents.
