Last month when I bought the Delorean at the Lego store they had a bunch of the Lamborghini Countachs on the shelf so I figured I’d get one another day. I’ve been back twice and they’re always sold out, not sure when they’re coming back in.

It occurred to me today that the collectible store in town that’s mostly comics and sports cards sometimes has Legos, dropped by and sure enough they had two Lamborghini’s. I picked up both of them.

It’s a great build, and so well executed.

I've got 60682 and 60005, I decided I wanted a trailer so I can tow the boat with the 18 wheeler. I bought the trailer from 60085 since that set uses the same boat size, I'm gonna start messing with the bricklink building software and redesign some of the trailer to match the 60282 set. Im thinking bigger matching wheels, redesigned gooseneck coupling, and for the sides red replaces black and yellow replaced orange so the colors match properly.

Semi-Truck sets will always hold a special place in my heart, as I had the cop one with the helicopter and constantly rebuilt it into mobile bases and things as a kid.

Ok took a few hours to figure out how to use bricklink software and build this but all the parts are ordered for the boat trailer, I am really hoping that its the right level for the 18 wheeler to hookup. I got to say how bricklink lets you upload and searches for all the parts in the least amount of orders is really nice.
The colors are weird since I changed all the parts I already own to purple so I didnt order extras.

Seemed only fitting to watch one of the best movies ever made while finishing this one up.

Agreed! Finished it up this morning, more stickers than I would’ve liked but a fun build that looks great. Anyone else break the pieces up by color before building?

I have to separate everything. I can't put everything in a big pile and then start searching for pieces. I like some order when I build a set.

I dump each bag into its own section in a flatware tray. I'm fine not sorting everything beyond that.

Still waiting on a couple parts, but got the tractor built this morning

I love how the old Uhaul sport van trailers looked and I wish I could have one so I designed a lego one today, I did change the red uhaul strip to blue since I like blue.
Maybe next weekend I can make a CRV in matching scale size to tow it.
I wasnt able to get the corners rounded how I wanted and I dont love how the roof rack came together but I dont think I can do better unless I make it a lot larger scale, I also had to compromise on colors since some are special parts only available in one or two colors.

My haul from May the 4th plus the succulents. I was very surprised by the Beskar steel keychain, it's actually some sort of metal not plastic. I love Ashoka Tano, so I got the brickhead and the Mandolorian throne room scene with a mini figure of her in it. These will go on the short list to build soon.

Nice. Looks about the right scale to pair with speed champions cars. Maybe you could tow it with a Lamborghini Countach?

Not a Lamborghini fan, maybe the speed champions corvette though.

could you use the same bricks I used on my camper? they're under slope/curved. there's a 2x2 corner piece that matches too

I was thinking that as well, but the corner piece currently isn't made in light gray
