Hopefully it doesn't disappoint. It's been on a few of the Ideas ballots I think

For anyone interested, they’re doing the Harry Potter GWP for Lego.com orders over $130. It’s the Grand Staircase, 40577. I placed an order this morning for two sets and this GWP was added to the order.

Edit: Not sure if this applies to any purchase of $130 or more or just Harry Potter sets. I ordered HP sets.

Forgot to mention, Harry Potter Lego set purchases over $40 also get this set as a GWP. It was also added to my order.

Well I decided to jump in and get a set of MOC instructions + parts list for what probably would be considered my hold grail of Lego sets or my "White Gorilla" if you will.............

The standard play scale AT-M6 just wasnt cutting it for me detail wise, so I found CaveGods UCS scale AT-M6. This thing is going to be utterly H U G E. No clue where Ill put it once Im actually done with it some time in the foreseeable future.
The instructions alone with a nice name/detail plate were over $100 by themselves, but this will be a LONG build for me, hoping to purchase the needed bricks over time VS trying to re-mortgage the house to afford the bricks themselves up front.
Ive got (or will have) the collectors series UCS-ish AT-AT of which gets dwarfed by Cavgods AT-M6. At 26,000 + bricks this is going to be the largest Lego anything I've ever built.

    https://brick-collective.com/en/produkt/cavegod-at-m6/

It makes the UCS AT-AT look like a miniature dachshund:

A C-3PO mini fig gives a pretty good idea of scale here.

I dont even want to know. Im hoping it will all blend together eventually after collecting enough bricks, but its going to hurt any way I slice it.
Im estimating at 26,000 bricks +, SBrick and lights, even if I can score some used bricks in there from a fellow I know, it still will be in the 3,000 to 4,000 range. Brick Moon says they can get a full kit for this at €4,800/5,200.

Ridiculous for a grown adult to even contemplate spending that much on something like this, yet here I am. Ill be 51 this year. :anonymous:

I made an order this morning. I’m unsure if I’ll get another. My Aug 1st order will crush my bank account.

5200 is 400 more than I paid for my Camry  That's a pretty penny for a Lego haha

Yes indeed it is. Yet the wife was somehow still cool with it as long as I spread it out and we have all our bills taken care of! Amazing girl she is.

I found a really good deal Cavegods UCS AT-AT that is slightly larger than the official Lego UCS AT-AT, but with separate instructions from All Out Brick. Much more reasonable at $440 something and 6,200 some odd bricks.

Think I might start there first......

I really like that old school batman cowl, and the og batmobile.
Might have to scoop em up before they are retired.
Batmobile at $30 is one of the best priced sets for retail imo
