    I got lucky - I bought the house I grew up in and my awesome Mom saved ALL my Legos and ALL the instructions too.
    My son and I have had lots of fun building all of the old sets. I was able to source some missing pieces from bricklink in a few cases as well.

    I picked up a 600 piece mindstorms kit from an ebay seller named andreaschen. Dirt cheap and all the parts were in perfect condition. Great addition to my EV3 set.

    Here's just a few. My daughter tore apart her mall and city scene that was badass. My pics came out odd, lighting in the room or something but everything bright red came out pink.

    My little surf wagon...the roof actually lifts up and folds back and there is a complete stereo system in it with 4 big speakers:eek:
