Okay, I absolutely love this Lightyear riff. Might need to finally learn about brick link and make it. Darn you LEGO for not just printing those big panel stickers onto the elements!

It’s reasonably organized and limited to one bedroom. I don’t have a problem, you got a problem!

I did and put the figs together over lunch to see what the big deal was. At first I thought it was in regards to the white visor piece on one fig, but no, it's the blue antenna eye piece thing. The boba fett-style one. The image shows it below the brow line, when in reality it's in the same spot as the other figs sporting that piece and closer to temple or above area. Seems pretty minor to me, but it definitely looks worse in person than it does on the package. Again though, same piece as the other figs soooo i’m not surprised by it.

Well the thing is the actually mini-fig helmet isn't accurate at all.....the way the box art shows it is actually how it's supposed to be. But for some reason Lego sucks when it comes to details on Star Wars Legos. It's supposed to be right at the top of the curve. But Lego put the holes right above where it should've gone, no clue why since the old ones were correct....

Right, I understand it's not where it should be, I'm just saying I'm not surprised where it actually ended up because it's where the piece has been for at least the last couple years. They put the hole there so they can use it for visors as well, I get Lego's side where it'd be absurd to make a separate nearly identical helmet mold with a hole 2mm down.

First three #1 bags revealed the inline 6 with moving pistons and a high-neutral-low transfer case.
Not sure if there is a tranny at the rear or if this is the option plate for the electric motor.
No missing pieces and the instructions were easy to follow aside from shading issues with the pics.
the extra pieces go with step 2 for the front bumper and winch.
The parts used so far look and feel exactly like Lego parts.

Definitely NOT Lego quality, but for the price a pretty decent static model. It can be fitted with two motors for the drive and a third for the PTO style winch, not even going to attempt that. About 18 hours to complete. As I got further into the manual, it got worse on directions. Front suspension was a complete mystery until I found a pic of the assembly. Had to look ahead to see wtf was happening
It does have latching doors but the hinges are wonky as hell.

Choice of roll bar or seats, but can't fit both. Seats do fold up and down.

On the fence about trying another one now.

Neat build. Pretty sure that's one of the many Chinese companies that rips off MOC designs and make them into sets with knockoff bricks. I'm all for less expensive options to Lego with equal or better quality (i.e. Cobi) but don't want to support stolen designs.
