The coolest thing about the Schwimmwagen is saying the name Schwimmwagen.

Everything larger than 1:48 scale came with a figure or two. All the planes have the pilots in the cockpits, the jeeps have their drivers, the Schwimmwagen has a driver too but forgot to seat him before taking the pics.
These guys came with the helicopters and the tanks. The copter pilots weren't going in without a fight, and seeing as how they're Marines, I decided to let them sit outside. The tank drivers were left out as I like the look better without them in there.

The two on the left are Black Hawk pilots and the two on the right were piloting and operating the machine gun in the Huey.

These are the tank commanders and a lone mechanic. I like the varying height and stature of the figures.

That reminds me of my most recent order I forgot to open. Snagged the Advent Calendar again but on sale. See if I can sell it down the road for a profit since I already have one

need to learn more about this stuff
you should catalog and take pics of all your sets and share it here. I’d love to see everything you have.

also wondering, what’s the end all? Sell them for retirement? Build them? Mix of both?
I just want to live through you and your collection!!

1920 Renault FT with General Józef Haller (1873-1960) next to a current era M1A2 Abrams. Both models are 1:35 scale. A French tank from WW1. It still survives today in the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw.

Good suggestion. Can't really incorporate that on this design without significant rework, and I'm fine with it not having that detail.
