Thanks! I'm slightly astonished she still wants to put up with me.

Not quite. Alaskan cruise for the honeymoon in July.

But we're already budgeting for Brickworld Chicago next year....

My kid had his decade birthday and got a truck and bikes and tent “cooler than yours, Dad!”

He’s also got a homebrew 737 to take our intrepid mtbrs on their world tour.

Went to the Lego store, and my wife (that still feels weird to say) insisted I get something for my birthday. Finally picked up Eldorado Fortress, plus the current GWP and some castle minifigs. Barnes and Noble had two of the retired XL-15 sets for 25% off, so I snagged them as well. It was such a fun set, I'd like to try messing with variations of it sometime.

Also, one of the guys from Bricklab took a trip to Billund a few weeks ago and very kindly brought me a souvenir.

This set is amazing. What a good deal. And it has cool parts that are hidden and only known to the builder. The engine flaps and thrust vectoring surfaces move and are pieced together in ways that allow for creative play. I only wish it were easier to hold and swoosh, and that there were a spot to hold the jet pack wing thing on the ship.

I might pick up a few more of these and kitbash them into companion ships.

    Nice work, LEGO.
