I should probably add to this thread.... yeah, the gf and I are big Lego geeks, I have been collecting the Star Wars sets for a little while, and she has been collecting the Pirates of the Caribbean sets. We strayed out for Christmas and her Bday, so I got her this.... Yeah, its a massive build but a ton of fun!

Thanks! Yeah, its one of those big builds but totally worth it! the attention to detail is unbelievable!! It took us probably on and off about a month to build. Each room is fully detailed, there is a pool table, an arcade game, a lab, the bathroom is fully detailed along with the kitchen, the coolest part is the fire pole even works!!

 

How was the Tie Fighter to build? We just finished the Bat Tumbler not too long ago and are looking for another really good build thats intense if you will

Awesome set! I think if it fit with the rest of the creator modular building sets I would have convinced myself to buy it.

 

To be honest, the Tie fighter was easy compared to the X-Wing. I also have the Slave 1 and I would rank them X-wing, Slave 1, Tie Fighter for difficulty of builds.

I'm a little late to the party and I have no idea how I found this thread tbh...thought I'd share a a few of mine....I started collecting again last spring..love building themI also have a b-wing and a naboo starfighter I couldn't fit on the shelf....I think I'm gonna be picking up the sandcrawler in a week or 2 here.
