New hobby area is gradually coming together. Also came to terms with sorting through which sets I want to keep for display, part of, or get rid of altogether. Space is at a bit more of a premium here.

Well, the wife came though with the goods. There is a brown lab in the set and with the brown lab puppy in the house. She had to get it.

and yes there is an alien mini figure on the roof because "Santa" put it in my stocking. and it couldn't be left out!

That was one of my favorite sets to build.

 

Was it you who said something like there's a lot of tricky and ingenious construction detail in the assemblies?

I think I've had to backtrack a step about 3 times on the last few pages.

 

Not that I remember, but anything is possible.

 

I mean, I can almost feel the samurai archers turning me into a pincushion.

 

Santa was good to me. No pictures yet as I have only just started building but I got

• 10279 - VW T2 Transporter
• 10317 - Land Rover Classic Defender 90
• 10304 - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

I'll have to decide what configuration to build the LR and the Camaro, but I'm excited. I limit myself to one bag per night I build to stretch out the fun.
