    Hands down the most difficult build as a child - there are many plates for the structure that need to be lined up just right.
    Honestly messed up a few times building it now. :eek:

    Needless to say my son is amazed with it...

    So much more to build yet too! :yay:

    Funny how it was a gift for my 9 year old son . I enjoyed assembling it more than he did. We also have a ghost train and a Airplane. Legos are just really toys for us old timers.

    I was obbsessed with Lego as a kid growing up. I loved the kits, but then just making all your own creations was even better. I can remember staying up all night with friends, not even saying a word, just building and building. Heres a few I threw together a couple months back. Nothing comparied to what i used to build ha, still fun though!


    EDIT:
    I remeber a buddy had all the Go Karts and they fit onto a semi truck? I looked all over for those types of kits but all it seems to be is start wars at the store by my house.

    Love this thread! Have been a huge Lego fan for years. Still have many, many sets in my closet. They seem to be worth some $$$$$ too.

    My niece's are into them now too. Pretty cool except they are all over the place now and we don't know where to go with the built sets anymore! LOL! Now I know how mom felt. :eek: LOL!

    And yes, Legoland is pretty freaking cool! :yay:

    Awesome thread! My obsession is mainly around Star Wars sets. I've always loved Legos, but my wife got me back into it when she got me the current Millennium Falcon for christmas a few years back. Now I both build and collect. Currently totaling 193 total sets, including both built and sealed (according to the FileMaker database I created to track my collection).

    And if you're ever looking for missing pieces, instructions, inventory lists, etc, check out bricklink.com. Totally invaluable site for collectors.

    Thanks guys. It's definitely been an obsession over the past few years. I spend way more time on eBay than I'd like to admit.

    As for hanging on to them for generations, I'd really like to, but I'll bet the need for storage space for other things will win out. Need to find a better way to store them...

    And just picked up the new Z-95 Headhunter at Target tonight. :rolleyes:
