Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Especially this time of year, Toys R Us always runs deals for them. They have been running buy one get one 50% off for most of December. I haven't payed close attention, buy off hand they are pretty comparable across the border.

    Too many to list now.
Fred Meyer, which I'm not sure if its local to Alaska or not is always running deals on them as well. I'm pretty exclusively buying from eBay at this point though. My collection will realistically always be built and displayed so I don't have any need for the box or instructions. Although building my last set off of my iPhone sucked.

On Star Wars sets, Toys R Us prices are highway robbery, unless they're doing a buy one, get one 50% off. Target and Walmart both regularly run good sales. With a Target Red Card, you always get 5% off, so I tend to buy from Target because of that. And check eBay for the occasional good buy on big sets. Amazon occasionally has good sales too, but a lot of times their prices are higher than msrp.

    I got another question lol

So ive began collecting the lego minifigures. Whats the best way to store them (for display purposes?) They sell display cases and stuff, I've seen a case for 4 and one for 15. Or should I buy lego bricks and windows/doors and stuff and build my own display case.

Buying the case for 15 will be the easiest, and you can just add more cases as your collection grows, but buying the bricks and windows to build your own will be cooler and more personal - i vote for that.

EXCELLENT THREAD! Props to EVERYONE and their sets!

Like most people here in this thread, Legos were a big part of my childhood and continue to be so (24 y/o). I don't have any crazy cool pics of any sets, but what I do have is the fact that I like an hour from LEGOLAND, FL.

This themepark is definitely for the physical 12 year old and younger, but ALSO definitely for the 12 year old inside of all of us.

Don't get too jealous of these pics though...

Very cool pics. What impressed me the most, besides the fact that they are ALL LEGOS!, is (Washington DC part especially) that they are all spacially/geographic laid out correctly.

I'll have to ask my wife to send me some pics, so I can post them. I have some older sets to include Blacktron and Futron and my son collects the new stuff.

    More to follow...
