There isn't a date set but it's the oldest modular set still in production. The Town Hall was produced after the pet shop and is already retired. So I would much rather be safe than sorry.

So I walked into TRU and saw this on the shelf. I was surprised since it's a retired set.

    Just the basics
FYI right now on Amazon the Sandcrawler is down at $263. Not sure how long it will stay at that price. I think Walmarx is also reducing it and that may be driving Amazon. I pulled the trigger on my first UCS set. Won't be able to build it til the winter. May finally have to make a Tatooine diorama of sorts.

I think this is an awesome set. My sweet wife bought it for me. I wont be able to build it till I move. So I'll have 150+ sets to open when I leave Hawaii. I just have zero space here to display them as they deserve.

Me too. I see my niece getting lost in her phone 90% of the time. I wish I could find something else to interest her. I've tried many things but I can't seem to appeal to a 13 yr old.

I have the cars covered. Surprised they haven't retired the VW van and Mini. Those have been out forever.

So I did a trade with a fellow collector from the United Kingdom. I sent him 2 polybags I had (Darth Revan and First Order General). In return he sent me these.
