Next Monday I'll be packing and moving, I should be able to get away for a bit, I'll also be home Tuesday that week

@Gramps @DaveInDenver so after the talk about the battery, I saw a used battery (group 121) and by rough measuring it looks like it wound fit in the opening between the air tube and the abs pump. All that wound be required to make it fit is a cage and cut the one foot on the air tube

Or possibly a group 26 battery

Well there both regular wet acid. IMG_3443.jpg
In this pic it wound clear if that one foot is cut back, and becomes a place to bolt to.
    IMG_3444.jpg
This wound be a tight squeeze for the 121 size it wound be touching the air duct. Not sure on the 26, but it's more square

So what kind of power are in a 121 or g26? Are we talking plenty for accessories?

    The 121 is 600cca with 110 reserve
    The 26 is 540cca with 80 reserve

I'll run up to parts store tomorrow and see if they'll let me take one outside and test fit it.

Those numbers are legitimate. The PC1400s that I have are 55 A-hr, 850 CCA, 130 reserve minutes each. So either of those should be fine for back-up starting, no problem. Odyssey's equivalent is a PC1200, which is a 44 A-hr rated battery.

Oba, yes. Ya can thank Ramon for the gb. And the last few times I've used my little compressor it's sounding rougher, I know it's gonna go one of these times.
And if can find a good battery to fit and a cage or someone makes a couple cages I'll defiantly add it. I predict it may still be a month or more.

What about doing a portable dual battery that's removable? Like maybe have a waterproof case for it that would also say hold the compressor and can be mobile... have wires and air hoses all ready for quick hook up:humble:

It's sounds good but it'll eat up space in the bed, and when I park for work I don't wanna leave it seen. Tried that with the winch and after 4 times it found a perminate mount.

The air will either be all 4 sides or just the front corners of the bed. It will als be ran into the cab to blow out all the dog hair.
As for the battery I want to keep it charged and eventually do a solar panel on the roof. go keep everything roped off when the truck sits for a week at a time.

So I stoped in there and we tried a group 26 and it was to large, if the abs pump could be moved about 2" tords the firewall then it wound fit.
