exaust muffler clamp size

I picked up a mid pipe and muffler from walker.

The muffler I.D. is 2.25 inch and the od of the mid pipe is 2.25. What size clamp do i need for this? 2.5 is way too big and 2.25 is too small considering thats the I.D. of the muffler inlet. Woudl it be a 2-3/8?

Id like to get a band clamp (stainless) so i can get it back apart again if possible but at this point any clamp will do. I have been dinking around with this exaust replacement for a month or more at this point.
