I have been wanting a Flowmaster Super 40. I finally went last week to go get one put on and shopped around a few shops. Almost everyone I went said to go with a Magnaflow. I ended up with a Magnaflow XL Turbo. It sounds great. Pretty damn loud when your accelerating but cant even really hear it on the highway.

Yeah I had a 18" Magnaflow put in mine and it has a nice deep tone. It sounds good on the V6.

I had also been looking into getting exhaust, but was wondering which one has a deep sound to it, but also does not get that loud raspy sound?

the flowmaster 40 series has a deep, rumbly tone to it. to me....it isnt raspy.......unless you are sitting there revving the piss outta the engine,as some do. spintech and magnaflow also have a good deep tone to them too.

Try and see if you can get a Wicked Flow. It sounds stock when you start and idle around town. But once to get on the skinny pedal that's when you can hear it. Also, its not ricey or raspy it nice deep smooth sound. I did not know of brand or for that ever hear of them. The shop had trucks w/flow and another w/wicked flow. That helped alot.
