I’ve had this problem but not as bad. Enough that it runs down the windshield though. I read on here that it could be because the a/c control was left on defrost. I made sure not to leave it on defrost and never had the problem. Left in on by mistake a few days ago and there was condensation the next morning. I think it’s been cool and rainy every time it’s happened. I e checked everywhere for leaks and found nothing. Truck still has the new car smell so I don’t think I have a leak.

Even when truck is off and sitting for a couple days? The defrost being on could effect it? I have a 18 Tacoma work truck and it stays on foot/defrost I've never had any kind of condensation issue out of it

Because leaking heater cores cause windshields to condensate due to typical location of heater cores.
Not saying you have a leaking heater core, just saying it's a fairly common cause of over condensating windshields.

Passenger or driver floor board carpet will be damp to wet.
Most likely this is a 3rd brake light issue.
I have seen a few other types such as seat belts being wet. Or water coming out of the door speakers if that panel has ever been removed. One was a giant 3 inch hole in the firewall that was the problem.
Most common is roof rack, 3rd brake light and the windshield itself.. water gets under the front cowl. The part the covers the bottom of it under the wiper arms.

It happens while sitting overnight with a/c knob left on defrost. Also, I’ve had a vehicle with a bad heater core and it wasn’t like this. With that, the windshield would fog up terribly while driving. Nothing happened while the vehicle was off or sat overnight. Also, the service manager at my dealership was very familiar with the third brake lights leaking and said he’s never seen an 18 or newer with that issue. Not saying it can’t happen, just that it’s not a common issue like the 17’s and older.

As mentioned, a light, sweet smell. Leaking radiator fluid, even in small quantities should be easy to pick up on. Probably not the case here or you'd have already noticed the scent. (assuming you haven't been up doing blow for the past couple weeks)

Past vehicles I had with bad heater core ..... Moisture in windows has a nasty film and streaks bad when you wipe it off. Have to clean the inside glass with Windex/cleaner to get off ...

That was the first indicator for the 3rd brake leaking. I noticed the condensation off and on. Then after an all day rain I noticed the back seat wet.

I just solved a very similar problem.
The servo that opens and closes the door to allow fresh air in had failed and the door was stuck closed.

How to test: Turn the fan speed on high with the vent selector going to your feet. Push the recirculate button and listen for a change in the tone from the door opening and closing. (Mine had no change in tone.)
Another way to test: Turn the fan speed to OFF and put the vent selector to the upper vents. Drive down the road at 40+ mph and feel for air flowing through the vents. (Mine had no air flowing through.)

    Good luck!

I had the same issue with my 2001, if you have condensation on the inside of the windshield and the driver and passenger floorboard are damp up by the heater outlets then the drain line i most likely stopped up. There is a drain through the firewall for the heater on the passenger side (this is where it is on my '01), I blew mine out with my air compressor, it was full of dirt from going in the fields and woods. After blowing it out I did not have the problem again.
