Can I disable the auto shifting with cruise control enabled so that throttle control is the only variable.

I complain to dealer and they tell me to turn off the cruise control for best gas mileage and hold steady throttle pressure with foot This seems like a stupid response. I have always owned Chevy trucks in the past and they only upchift on significant grades.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Have you tried getting your ECU updated? the latest patch is supposed to be really good.
