Hey guys I've diagnosed a fair share of brake issues on different trucks over the years, but before I spend the time this weekend poking around to see what I broke last weekend, thought I'd check in here first to get some input.

So right now under medium Brake pressure, decelerating from 60-30mph I'm getting like a WHOLE vehicle vibration. Feels like it's jumping from front to rear continually. Like a wave.

I thought initially it might be a warped rotor, but the vibrations are really throughout the entire truck. My steering wheel isn't pulling or vibrating and I can't feel the typical hard/soft/hard/soft repetition typical of a warped rotor. I usually shift down alot to come to a stop and don't ride the brakes alot so I really don't know what's going on.

Only thing I can think is that going over a couple rivers crossings last weekend I gave 'er a little too hard and busted something? But without putting it on a lift everything appears OK.

Right now I'm highway commuting alot and grandpa driving it so not a big deal, but it's gonna bug the shit outta me real quick if I can't fix it.

Unfortunately no photos of said crossing,

Maybe a warped drum in the rear or some debris/ mud in there.

It's the first thing I thought. But it happened right after I was done 4x ing that morning. Maybe a partially seized caliper? But I have no pulll.... Frustrating

Hadn't thought of that, river has dirty water, but not Mud, all river rock. I'll take a peek for sure.

I had a caliper bolt fall off a vehicle so we thought it was a warped rotor. pulled wheel off and saw caliper was hanging on for dear life without the bottom through bolt. I would just take the wheels off and look around.

It's likely standard brake pulsation, you likely have hot spots on the front rotors. Or possible pad embedding on the rotors. Don't over think it.
