This was the absolute best response from them about how to make their floormats fit. Tell me what you think. I sent them the exact same pic as the OP's first one.

Tired all that mine still has the gap. Even tried a heat gun. The material is thinner than it used to be and doesn't hold form as good as it should.

Have a set of Husky liners I bought for my 1994 Tacoma. Fit was good. This was before all the laser fit stuff. Moved to my 2002. Fit pretty good but the mat itself has held up fantastic. 336K miles and still protecting the floor. For my new truck I'll stay with Husky. I agree that while they are just floor mats, for the price and the advertising of an exact fit, you shouldn't have to use a heat gun or do anything else but put them on the floor.

I have the twist style retainers on the floor that are a tight fit and the few times I've taken my liners out to clean them, I haven't had anything under them. I'd try a heat gun or hair dryer and see if you can mold them a little better to your floor. My rear liner was folded in half for shipping, and I let it sit in the sun for a couple hours before installing. Mine fit real nice. Good luck!

FWIW, here's mine after almost 7 years of Maine winters. At this point they owe me nothing and the carpet underneath looks pretty damn good. My only gripe was that because the liner is hard plastic, it scratches up from the sand and will never look like new again. I've hit it with a power washer and armor all'd them, marginally better. Then I think what the carpeting would have looked like without them. Gripe is gone.

So glad I found this thread, I ordered a set for my 2012 DC and they were due to arrive tomorrow.... I immediately got in touch with AutoAnything and set up a return. The guy I spoke with (Mike) was very helpful and even asked if it was this thread I was talking about when I told him why I wanted to exchange them. LOL Got some Husky Weatherbeaters shipping soon.

If I could sell my new 2015 Double Cab crappy Weather Gaps I would do the same. Might just get some Husky's and try to sell my Weathercraps for a little coin. How much did you pay for the husky's?

I went with Husky Liners in my FJ. I hate the fit. I will be going back to WeatherTech although I am not in too much of a hurry since the FJ has a rubber floor.
