Well, shit. That's the sound I get in heavy cross-winds. I just haven't gotten around to trying the fix yet.

The cab does seem to have a bit of excessive wind noise in general. I just haven't bothered taking it to the dealer....because I know how that will end...

Mine sounds like the door isn't shut all the way or the window isn't quite closed. I noticed it for the first time today on the way home from a hunting trip.

I'd have to ask a passenger to do it. I should have done it on my way back. My buddy has been a ford tech for over 13 years and he was riding in the truck with me. I was explaining the issues I've been having with the truck and when I heard the wind noise at first I thought maybe I was hearing things....I tried to roll up the window two or three times.

I just throw that out there as if memory serves me correct a guy here had wind noise that he could manipulate and even get to stop. He ended up coming up with his own fix that worked regarding double-sided foam tape between door and seal...I believe.

I have had my truck since October and never had a noise that you speak of. Have had a shitty set of avs low profile ventvisors on my truck for about three days before I took them off and put them in the trash because the rear ones flexed to much when windows opened at highway speed.

I don't have the wind noise, but on my drivers door, anytime it rains or I wash the truck, water pools on the door sill. It is a puddle about the size of a quarter in one to two spots, and also sits on the bottom of the inside of the door, inside the seal. Not normal at all for any car. When I open the door, you can hear the water running inside the door, then slowly seeps out the drains in the bottom, but water will sit in the door for a day or two, almost like something is blocking it from draining out completely. The dealership has the door seal on order to replace it, but it's back ordered, and they will take the door panel apart to make sure nothing is blocking the water drainage inside the door. When driving after it rains, you can hear the driver door seal whistle slightly. Hopefully the replacement seal will fix this. Has anyone else had their door seal replaced yet?

Theres the louder than average wind noise and then there is the kazoo noise. The kazoo noise has only happened 3-4 times for me and it was all within 5 minutes when I was on the highway out in the middle of the open desert. It is entirely possible you aren't in the right environmental conditions to experience it. Seems like it happens in a strong crosswind.

I have the same issues, at highway speed it sounds like the rear access door isn't closed, very noisy. I have an appointment with the dealer next Sat. Will update you on there "we don't hear anything" results. I applied glue to the door weather stripping, all around, a bit better but not good. And BTW it's not noise coming from the rear firewall vents. I took the rear wall off, sound proofed, it, sealed around the vents since they were sloppy, it's not the vents. The noise only is on the driver side rear.

The problem here is that "quiet" is subjective. What's quiet to some may be unacceptably loud to others.

It'd be nice to collect some data points. Maybe decibel readings or recordings.
