Hey guys I have a '98 2.4L 2WD, and last night the exhaust suddenly got really loud. Looked under and looks like it broke just south of the catalytic converter (or someone tried to steal?). it's on the CAT side of the flange, do you think it's possible to weld back or will I need to get a new one? As long as the CAT is is still good any good exhaust repair shop will fix that for you

I'd take it to a muffler shop. Might be able to weld it up if the crack isn't too big.
