    Man...I've been trying to chase down a leak for weeks now. I've got the NST crank and fan pulley, but had enough oil on my inner driver CV to think that my re-seal/ECGS bushing job didn't work. I even ordered a new seal and went down to town to buy gear oil today to change it this afternoon, but dang does it ever look like it's leaking from the crank now that I look more closely. Thanks for the heads up!

    TRD S/C, UCON, 61# inj, 2.5 pulley, 7th inj, Roostfactor Y Pipe, URD exhaust, WAT Nomad Valve body, Dana 60, DK LT, JD FAB LCA mounts, custom roof rack...and way too many others.
    The original NST pulleys didn't include a steel sleeve over the aluminum hub, so the spring tensioned crank seal would etch a path for oil there. They now come with steel sleeves over the aluminum hub to prevent premature wear.

    The funny thing is this happens with the stock steel dampner hub too. Both hubs I've pulled have had heavy scar-age there. Clean them up with some emerycloth and a new seal. You should be GTG.

    Justin or whoever can make some adjustments to your tune to take advantage of the additional timing. It will help some but isn't a NEED.

    Always add Grease to crank seal and or crank pulley sleeve.

    On P265/70R17 and about 2” lift all around I’m getting 20.5 to 21 every tank. I am running URD LT headers and a tune from JustDSM though.

    I would by far give the gears best bang for the buck of all my engine mods. My idle is much smoother and the power band is much more consistent. I’ll never own a 1GR-FE that doesn’t have them.

    I’ve got the alternator and water pump pulleys on the way from them, have for over six weeks:mad: I’m not running my truck as a tow/play truck without a balancer, but that’s just me. I’m gonna put a super damper on probably, as it is lighter than the factory, or so I’ve been told.

    Have started thinking the same (but would also always want a tune now too).

    Question for OP @mightytacoman - do you see any issue with sending you my stock gears I just removed to get machined in case I get another rig in the future? (have an itch for a DCLB I can't seem to get rid of).

    Ya I can machine your stock gears buddy. I machined a set with around 200k on them. There is little to no wear on the teeth but you can see where the stock keyway is ever so slightly wider from wear.

    It's what Urd found to work best. @dark vader trd pro had me do him a set at 4°. I wonder if he's installed them or not.

    Actually, for clarification, APR found it to be 3 degrees. URD used to work closely with APR.

    Why did I have to find this!? I just did The HP Tuners yesterday via JustDSM. I had no intentions of modifying my engine till I got a lift put on...this is not helping my cause. I will have to wait though for now

    Ok I hope this makes sense On page one The stock gear timing dot is at 12:00 ? With the install of your gear the dot is at 7:00 ?
    I see the line you make to timing chain mark ! ( I assume that"s how you get the 3degs ) Am I thinking right ?
    Also would this Mod. still pass my California smog test ?
