My wife wants my truck louder and so do I. I'd like to get a catback just for the fitment and look. I know it won't do anything performance wise for me.

The information I am looking for is.......Has anyone tried to fit the TRD exhaust or any other catback listed for just the 4.0 to a 2.7 second gen? I have seen some people say they should fit, but haven't seen where anybody did it. I was looking at borla or maybe the flowmaster DBX.

    It won't fit. Try LCE.

Why won't it fit? Magnaflow and MBRP use the same part number for 4.0 and 2.7. Is the length of the pipe from the muffler to the flange different? Is the flange different? From what I have read the pipe diameter is the same.

I would think that the flange location is different since there is no crossover for the driver side head. I could be wrong though. I suggest parking a 6 banger next to your truck and you compare component locations.

I actually thought about going to the dealership and crawling under a couple trucks.
