It's condensation? I always thought it was just road salt kicked up.

 

I get the same thing only when it's really cold. I think it looks bad ass especially when my whole tailgate frosts over as well after driving on snowy roads. Happens most when driving constant on the highway because there is a continuous flow of exhaust. I think all Taco's do this. The ones you see without just haven't been driven as much that day.

 

Just gotta say to you as well, with no dis, This is YOUR truck... with dual exhast. I mean, really?!?!

 

winter is to blame. condensation which forms after the warm(hot) exhaust cools down and forms inside. perhaps a little water in the mix too. ALL vehicles do this in the winter. i lived in minnesota for 59 years and it happened every winter. drive the truck and don't worry about it.
